Our
long planned 2008 foals are here!!! And they're all that we hoped
they would be...
We got our first miniature horse in 1999 and had full size
horses for years prior to getting into minis. From the start,
we'd dreamed of raising our
own foals but before we jumped in, we decided to put some time into
showing, studying and learning what a halter champion looks like.
In
addition to having correct breeding stock, we also wanted "typy" foals
that could SHOW. 2008 brought our first foals and
they are each AMHA /
AMHR pending, AMHR Futurity
Nominated, and Show Quality. We are very thankful for and proud
of each of these babies -- They were worth the wait!!!

Whinny For Me's Big City Cover Girl ("Cover Girl")is
a gorgeous and
petite buckskin filly. She was born on April 9, 2008 in the barn
of our good friend and mentor, Erica Killion. Cover Girl is a
beautiful and small framed buckskin filly out of our perlino BTU mare, Erica's Double Dipped(sibling
to many National Champions and featured on this page),
and by the
outstanding sire of National Champions, Little Kings Big City Buck,
an own son of
Buckeroo. This, of course, makes Cover Girl double bred Buckeroo
and it shows more than just on paper! Cover Girl should mature
around 31" and she will be shown. We are tickled with
her!!! She is one of several Big City babies we are proud to call
our own -- they just love to show off and have such people loving
personalities. We will have much more to say about Cover Girl as
time goes by... Right now, she and her dam are at Erica's as Double and
our special stallion, Ericas Echos of
My Destiny (HOF & National Champion), are currently
dating. Cover Girl and her mom will make their way to VA early
this coming summer!

filly with a big star and snip. She was born at Whinny For Me
Farm on April 4, 2008. She is two foot tall fire ball!!!
She is very full of herself and contains at least 17hh of personality
and self esteem within her small body.
Passion has a nice, straight legs, a short back, upright neck, dun
factor and the most feminine girly-girl head you could want in a
filly. She should mature around 31" and is AMHR / AMHA pending
and
AMHR Futurity Nominated. She will make a knockout show filly and
later
an outstanding broodmare.
Passion is sired by our AMHR National Top

"Ducky" < < <
Whinny For Me's Dun Buckin Around ("Ducky") is a black colt
(who looks to have dun factor). He was born on March 30,
2008. He is out of our gorgeous Rowdy bred mare, Harrells Rowdys Reflection of Hope
and by our outstanding stallion, Ericas
Gone and DunIT, who
has bragging rights of AMHR National
Top Ten (halter), AMHA Honor
Roll
(halter) and many time Halter Champion.
We expect Ducky to mature
around 33". His pedigree is power packed with National Champions,
National Top Ten's, and National Champion Producers!
We plan for Ducky to be that kick butt homebred show gelding we've
dreamed of making! Not as a reflection of his
quality, but we love those stallion quality geldings -- so much fun to
show and easy to love (just check out our other awesome show
geldings!!!). We will be putting his dam in for
a repeat in hopes of a 2009 "duckling".

champion stallion, National Top 5 horse, Triple H Derby Day Miracle.
Skipper was born on 5/29/03 and
looks to have matured around 31.5". He is the first horse that is of my
breeding (out of my mare, by my
stallion), but it was an indirect kind of route to "home bred".
Lou was owned by a friend and I allowed her to breed Lou to my
stallion. Then soon after, my friend decided to sell Lou and I
snapped her up newly in foal to my stallion. I
didn't aim to start breeding that early, but can't argue with the
results!
I
showed Skipper at the Virginia Miniature Horse Club's Summer Classic
where he stood Grand Champion Jr.
Gelding and again at the May Extravaganza, a two judge AMHR Show
in Harrington, DE, where he stood Champion
Jr. Gelding under both judges.
