Edgewood Skip To My Lou is a 1994 AMHA / AMHR silver dapple pinto driving mare that I bought from Priscilla Lane of Holly Lane Farm on August 26, 2002. Priscilla bought Lou from our friend, Marilyn Hoffman of the very prestigious Hilltop Stud Farm . Lou is a very, very sweet, gentle and loving mare and she is also a lovely driver. She drives like a dream and goes on an ultra light touch. She does a lot more than simply drive quietly.  She could win blue ribbons in roadster and she can really do a lot of fancy things with a cart (360's, barrels, obstacles, etc.). She also knows how to set right up for halter class and to s-t-r-e-t-c-h that pretty neck!

In 2004, the first year I have shown Lou, she was the Virginia Miniature Horse Club's 2004 Reserve Grand Champion Mare and also the Area One AMHR Show's Reserve Champion Sr. Mare and was 1st place model mare at the same show!  Not too shabby for a 10 year old "brood mare"!

Lou is one of our best and favorite mares.
